Resting within the lush rolling hills of the Northern NSW hinterland, this four-day retreat carries us to a place where everything around and within begins to slow.
Each sunrise invites practices of Pilates and meditation.
Through invigorating movement, purifying nourishment, cleansing rejuvenation and mindful learnings from breath work and ice bathing, we let our deep essence unfold as time slow down.
Each sunset welcomes calming rituals of massage, stretching and sauna to close the day.

When we think of escaping into hinterland, we imagine expansive green hills and valleys, the ocean in shimmering distance, an abundance of fresh air, the sunrise bathing expansive farmlands into a golden light and cosy fireplaces to wind down on.
Set on a hill and yet tucked away in the Northern Rivers Hinterland in NSW Hillside Carool a former winery, now private sanctuary and our May retreat home, has all of this on offer.
Its the venues elevated position, the expansion from a curated garden, pool and spa into rolling meadows and boasting rows of grape vines, that create a feeling of space perfect to spend slow retreat days at. With a dedicated attention to detail, the owners created a homestead that invites to get cosy, to connect and to venture at the same time.

Our private estate features 7 available bedrooms — solo and double rooms with ensuites.
Each space has its own personality, crafted with care through natural and calming light, colours, and materials. Spread across the homestead, the rooms offer views to either the valley and pool courtyard or the lush, surrounding gardens. Dressed in the softest linen, each room welcomes a light, relaxed atmosphere by day and transforms into a serene, undisturbed space by night, creating a private sanctuary to rest, reset, and reconnect.
All rooms have just received a fresh look and new ensuites.
Meals
With a deeply intentional and restorative approach to food one that sees nourishment as both medicine and connection Amy will be our private chef for this long weekend.
As a retreat chef with extensive experience in curating immersive food and currently deepening her studies in holistic nutrition Amys philosophy is rooted in seasonal, whole-food cooking that supports digestion, energy, and overall vitality.
For REALIGN, Amy will curate a menu guided by natures rhythms, crafted from locally sourced produce, and designed to feel abundant yet considered. To allow the body to discover balance, deep nourishment and a gentle reset, we consciously remove refined sugars, processed foods, and alcohol. Her combination of vibrant whole food cooking and nutritional wisdom will welcome us for refreshing breakfasts, gut healing lunches and candle-lit dinners.
All meals invite us to slow down, look over Amy's shoulder and quietly celebrate the intention of realignment from the inside out.

I've never done Pilates before. Is this retreat right for me?
Yes. Our Pilates and movement sessions are accessible for every level. Classes are layered so complete beginners feel welcome while seasoned practitioners can deepen their practice. If you can breathe and move gently, you belong here.
What should I pack?
Comfortable activewear, bathers for the pool and cold plunge, layers for cool mornings in the hinterland, slip-on shoes, and a refillable water bottle. We send a detailed packing list after booking.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
Yes. All meals are plant-based, gluten-free, sugar-free, and made with local produce. Just let us know any allergies or additional needs at booking and our chef will plan around them.
Is this retreat for women only?
No, this retreat welcomes all genders. Our small group of up to 10 means the experience feels intimate and supportive regardless of who you arrive with or on your own.
How do I get to the venue?
The retreat is located in Carool NSW, in the Northern NSW hinterland, about 40 minutes from Gold Coast airport and 90 minutes from Byron Bay. Airport transfer options are shared after booking.
What's the cancellation policy?
The 10% booking deposit paid through The Good Index is non-refundable. The remaining 90% is refundable if you cancel more than 30 days before the retreat start. Inside 30 days, your place is transferable to another guest or a future retreat.
