The surf community is a great one to be a part of, connecting with strangers over a love for something that brings you fun and joy. Learning to surf is also a great way to step beyond your comfort zone and try something new. The retreats are open to all ages and both men and women looking to embark on a new journey or progress their current skills. Good For The retreat includes: coached surfing sessions, with some of WA’s best and most experienced coaches; video feedback of yourself surfing to see exactly what you need to adjust and why; surfing theory and ocean awareness to help you gain education about how waves form, what waves to look for, how to read a surf break and so much more; yoga to develop and strengthen your surfing muscles, plus stretch out before bed; all meals and accommodation. Facilities The 3-day weekender retreat is hosted at the Sol Surf house. Situated in the WA country town of Cowaramup (10 minutes north of Margaret River), we’re close to both bush and beaches. The Sol Surf house is a comfortable, luxurious holiday home with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are 2 twin rooms and 1 private queen room. We also offer cheaper accommodation in our yoga shed, shared between 2 guests and with it’s own ensuite. The yoga studio is a converted shed that is also situated on the property. Gracetown is located 15 minutes west, Margaret River 10 minutes south and the Busselton airport is 25 minutes north.
