Join Liz Turner, yoga teacher at a beautiful Scottish lodge for authentic Vinyasa Krama yoga - variations suited to different people taken step by step. Start or boost your yoga journey on a retreat with a balance of 'time out' from life, restorative sessions, relaxation, meditation but also strengthening, increasing mobility and addresses bodily imbalances. Yoga therapy will be integral where needed, for example guidance for back care/other structural issues. Also learn about yoga's sister science, Ayurveda through talks, cooking demo and delicious food. An impressive Scottish Victorian Lodge overlooking Loch Rannoch in the centre of Scotland, yet still accessible by train and car. A private, elevated location surrounded by gardens and mature trees. The house is spacious with sitting rooms, ample bedrooms, and bathrooms, a conservatory overlooking the garden, a dedicated large yoga space, and a heated indoor swimming pool. Contains 9 well-spaced bedrooms and bathrooms with a choice of room types. If anyone wants to attend but have their family staying nearby, do contact us for the possibility of further arrangements. The retreat facility is run by a private members club. To be able to utilise the Club's facilities during your retreat, all attendees automatically become members of the club upon booking. The location is adjacent to the beautiful and unspoiled Loch Rannoch, 10 miles long with Sandy beaches along the shore. Surrounded by Scottish moorland, mountain peaks, ancient pine forests, and not far away is Schiehallion, an over 1000m high Munro, also known as the fairy hill of the Caledonians. Enjoy this private elevated location with trees, an enclosed garden, a swimming pool, and nearby Loch Rannoch and mountains. Despite being a beautiful hidden jewel in the centre of Scotland, the lodge is just 15 minutes from Rannoch train station and 45 minutes from the main A9.
Meals
Experience delicious ayurvedically balanced meals. We will serve 3 meals a day that are vegan, apart from optional honey and optional dairy milk for teas. There will be snacks on arrival, with guidance on eating snacks ayurvedically. We can cater for other dietary requirements (with sufficient notice and information). Ingredients will be organic and local where possible.

I'm a complete yoga beginner. Can I come?
Yes. Liz teaches Vinyasa Krama, which means every pose is built up with variations suited to each person and taken step by step. Beginners and seasoned practitioners practise side by side comfortably.
What should I pack?
Warm layers for Scottish weather, waterproofs and sturdy walking shoes, yoga wear, a swimsuit for the pool, and a journal. Detailed list shared after booking.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
Yes. Meals are Ayurvedically balanced, vegan, and use local organic ingredients. Gluten-free, dairy-free, and lactose-free accommodations are standard. Let us know at booking.
Who is this retreat for?
Men and women from their 20s to 70s seeking balance, renewal, and grounding. Group size is 9 for a warm, intimate experience. Especially helpful for those with back concerns or mobility needs thanks to Liz's yoga therapy background.
How do I get to the venue?
The retreat is at a Scottish lodge near Pitlochry. Edinburgh or Glasgow airports are the best arrival points, then a scenic drive. Detailed travel guidance shared after booking.
What's the cancellation policy?
The 10% deposit via The Good Index is non-refundable. The 90% remainder is refundable up to 30 days before start, transferable inside 30 days.
