The DETOXU setting is idyllic, just over one hour’s drive from Sydney nestled on 141 acres of land at Sweven Estate Cattai on the banks of the Hawkesbury River. Guests are greeted by a long winding driveway framed by trees, interrupted only by a lotus filled lake. The tree-house design of the property automatically catches your attention as you ascend the steep driveway, which opens to a quaint entertaining area with a magnificent fireplace. The large front garden gives you a chance to admire the numerous verandas and the linked timber and stone pavilions of the property. The front entrance is surrounded by an Asian style moat and water feature, setting a mood of tranquillity which is uninterrupted throughout your entire stay.

DETOXU retreats focus on treatments to rejuvenate, restore & calm the mind including yoga, meditation, massage and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, as well as art therapy. The culinary experience at DETOXU is a gourmet indulgence, with an onsite private chef preparing all meals for guests.

A typical retreat experience

Upon your arrival to DETOXU, a hostess will welcome you and ensure you have every comfort.  Once settled in you will make your way over to the magnificent tree arbour where guests will enjoy a Welcome Lunch picnic.

Over the 3 day retreat you will indulge in various treatments to rejuvenate, restore & calm the mind, some of which include starting your day with an early Yoga session followed by Lymphatic Drainage massage incorporated with applied Kinesiology. Guests will also receive a treatment in our Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber that is said to have the same health benefits as 4 hours R.E.M sleep which is known to rid the body of toxins and and leave you feeling refreshed and invigorated.

In your free time you may wish to take a swim in the beautiful infinity pool or explore the 141 acres Sweven Estate has to offer. Make use of the retreat’s buggie or take a calming walk around the estate. On Day 3 the DETOXU retreat comes to an end with a fun Art Therapy session to unleash creativity within the group. The artists will guide you through the painting process and encourage you to find your own artistic expression. A mindfulness meditation experience followed by a light snack will complete your stay at Sweven Estate.
