Good For
Day 1:
Welcome to Beechmont Estate and the relaxation that will wash over you as soon as you drive through the front gates, hear the crunch of gravel underneath your tyres and feel the fresh, country air on your face. After checking in, the afternoon is yours to spend as you wish – and that might just be a ‘Time to Unwind’ Relaxation Massage in the day spa, a soothing treatment designed to nurture the body, mind and spirit.
Later in the afternoon, a stirring Welcome to Country conducted by Mununjali Ngari Indigenous Dance Troup will allow you to cleanse bad spirits and invite wellbeing into your life. A Welcome Circle follows, where you will set intentions for the days and year ahead. Enjoy a slow, meditative yoga practice where poses are held for longer than usual and you are supported by props such as bolsters, blocks and blankets.
Day 2:
Morning, yoga, meditation and breathwork on the Sunset Terrace set the tone for the day ahead and allow all the outside noise to float away. Learn the breathwork practice proven by science to quickly activate the parasympathetic nervous system and enter a state of calm. You’ll then move into a traditional Hatha Yoga practice with the perfect balance of poses to gain strength and flexibility and equilibrium in the mind. Finish with a guided meditation for Savasana.
Nourish your body with a Farmer’s Grazing Platter breakfast, featuring a selection of the Scenic Rim’s freshest produce. Then, rest and reset (or sneak off to the spa) before lunch.
You’ll then have the opportunity to take part in a Mindful Art session (optional $44pp upgrade). Understand and implement the ancient practice of mindfulness, scientifically proven to help you overcome stress and anxiety. Feel the joy of being fully present during a guided mindfulness walk & express yourself beyond words through the therapeutic use of art.
Take things at a leisurely pace this evening with a degustation dinner at The Paddock restaurant curated by Executive Chef Simon Furley.
Day 3:
Kick-start the day and centre your body and mind with an outdoor Vinyasa yoga, meditation and breathwork session. This is a healing practice whereby we flow through sequences while synchronising with the breath. This union of breath and movement is extremely calming for the mind.
This will be followed by a nourishing breakfast platter. Then, it’s time to lace up your hiking boots. Your destination is the World Heritage-listed Lamington National Park, where you’ll journey on foot on a guided hike through ancient Gondwana Rainforest, to a private waterfall inaccessible to the general public and take part in a cleansing water release ritual. A gourmet picnic hamper awaits.
This afternoon you may opt for a relaxing massage, an intuitive Tarot Reading ($66 optional add on) or time to yourself. After a Kitchen Garden Tour where you’ll learn more about the local and native produce that sings on your plate, there’s time for spa treatments or, you might prefer to shake things up, literally, with a cocktail masterclass (optional $50pp upgrade) before an Asado barbecue dinner.
Bring things back to equilibrium with a Yoga Nidra Meditation Session to prepare for deep sleep. Arguably the deepest form or rest there is, enjoy this sensory practice where you lie in complete stillness and be guided into the peaceful inner chambers of your awareness.
Day 4:
After your morning energising breathwork session, time spent in meditation and a Closing Circle will allow you to reflect and feel equipped to carry your newfound energy home.
Enjoy a final breakfast before an optional post-wellness retreat massage.
