High Spirits offers a range of retreats ranging from KaHuna massage and Heartworks Lomi Lomi (an ancient Hawaiian healing art for body, mind and spirit) to Women’s retreats, Rejuvenation retreats and Leadership & Facilitation workshops. Whatever your chosen retreat, High Spirits will help you unplug from the daily bustle and begin a week long detox of your body, mind and spirit with wholesome nutritious foods, daily sauna’s and exceptional teaching. With its modern training hall, heated salt-water pool, spa, sauna and comfortable inviting accommodation, High Spirits Retreat offers a very private and nurturing environment in which each individual is allowed to safely travel on their personal journey. High Spirits Retreat is also available for groups to hire our the venue, with a minimum hire of 3 nights.

Kahuna Massage Courses – KaHuna massage is a flowing style of massage, providing a holistic approach to healing by balancing the body-mind in its physical, emotional and spiritual dimensions. It is with deep respect for the Hawaiian culture that Mette is combining her dance and movement experience with this beautiful flowing style of massage. The retreat offers 6 courses, all lasting 5-6 days and covering different levels and elements of Kahuna massage, from beginner to sacred soul mastery.

HeartWorks Lomi Lomi Course – Heartworks Lomi Lomi Massage, the Ancient Hawaiian Healing Art for body, mind and spirit, with its gentle flowing sequences, is an excellent and beautiful way of opening up the heart and soothing the soul. This heart opening massage style involves hands and fingers flowing in continuous moves, bringing the client to a state of deep relaxation. Within it is the ability to reduce stress, promote muscle relaxation and improve circulation and thereby stimulate the client on both a physical and an emotional level. In receiving this massage, we allow ourselves to let go of the old and so make room for new and wondrous energy and love.

Leadership & Facilitation – An eight day program giving participants a unique style of training which incorporates traditional leadership and facilitator methodologies and tools. This program has a very practical approach and real situations are simulated to give participants the skills to be able to confidently design and deliver appropriate and effective training programs to groups and individuals The benefits of the Leadership training, has a very broad application. Whether you are a yoga teacher, personal trainer, presenter of corporate programs, business leader, or a parent, this program will enable you to be clear and honest in your communication and promote a change within a group and its individuals.

Women’s Retreats – The elements of Earth, Air, Water and Fire form the foundation, intention and structure of this profoundly healing women’s retreat. During 5 days, you are guided through deep, sacred rituals to discover more of who you truly are, offering strategies and processes to enhance your life in a dynamic and supporting environment.

Rejuvenation Retreats – Daily routines consist of a perfect blend of detoxifying wood fired sauna and magnesium plunge pool rituals (twice daily), and a movement and meditation session. Supported by healthy, cleansing whole food, plant-based meals comprising of a smoothie for breakfast and nourishing wholesome soups for lunch and dinner.

There are four beds in each room with it’s own shower and toilet facility. High Spirit’s retreats contain relatively long days so not much time is spent in the rooms.
