Good For

KaHuna massage lovers and those looking for tranquility

Programmes & Offerings

Retreats run weekly from Wednesday to Sunday and all share in a simple schedule of activities, designed to give you time and space for healing, reflection and rest. Daily routines consist of a perfect blend of detoxifying wood fired sauna and magnesium plunge pool rituals (twice daily), and a movement and meditation session. The retreat’s daily routines are designed to maximise your time for rest, relaxation, inner reflection and to receive KaHuna massages. Tivoli provides a space where you can adopt some long-lasting healthy habits, to ensure good health and well-being into the future.

KaHuna Massage – Tivoli also offer the beautiful relaxing and restorative KaHuna massage, which are highly recommended to be enjoyed daily to enhance your stay. KaHuna is a flowing and dynamic form of massage therapy rhythmically performed with music. KaHuna uses long flowing strokes to provide a space for clients to experience healing and wellbeing. The long flowing strokes allow space for the client to enter a space of deep relaxation.

Polynesian Floor – A gentle and intensive floor treatment. Ease tensions with a firm application of pressure to areas of high tension. Also includes shoulder and hip mobilization stretches. An effective treatment and alternative to oil massages. The Polynesian Floor is a fully clothed massage.

Facilities

Tivoli hold their movement and meditation sessions in a large well-ventilated room with plenty of space and padded carpet to provide comfort under foot. Their sunroom attached to the movement room has expansive 180-degree views of the valley. It is a wonderful comfortable space to lounge around in, to meditate, or for quiet contemplation.

Their two massage rooms are situated upstairs and offer a tranquil nurturing space perfect for your daily Ka Huna massages. Tivoli also has a large custom-built wooden sauna with a wood fired heater. Coupled with our magnesium plunge pool, this cleansing ritual provides a perfect blend of relaxation and invigoration. It is best enjoyed twice daily.
