Programmes & Offerings

Heartlands ‘Healing Renewals’ are 5 days of spiritual wholeness and refocus. Guests are entirely free to take part in (or decline) any activity and they strive to ensure their entire program is gentle, non-threatening and is never intrusive in any way.

Within those 5 days, guest can choose to partake in group workshop sessions on visioning, meditation, mindfulness techniques, creative art sessions, daily Tai Chi or Yoga Classes and regular meditations and chants. For those looking to relax, remedial, deep tissue, kahuna and relaxation massages are available, as well as reflexology. Guests have plenty of free time to enjoy their surroundings, including a chance to hand feed dolphins at local Tin Can Bay.

Facilities

Despite describing itself as ‘homely’ rather than ‘glitzy’, Heartlands Retreat offers a wealth of facilities available for guests to enjoy. The retreat boasts a a 4-person far-infrared sauna and a large salt-water pool for you to relax in the cool, as well as a 4,500 book library to browse, full of spiritual, healing and self-empowerment volumes. There’s even a macadamia orchard and a donkey sanctuary, in addition to walks across almost endless rolling green hills.

Food & Drink

Heartland’s kitchen regime is based around wholesome and often organic vegetarian meals. For the highest health benefits the kitchen uses virgin cold-pressed olive oils and organic cold-pressed coconut oils. Plus a huge range of some 45 herbal teas, organic coffee and famous Tulsi teas, too. Dietary requirements can generally be catered for if informed upfront.

Accommodation

At Heartland, there are 3 separate cottages where each guest has their own private zen-styled fully prepared rooms (air conditioned). A maximum of 4 guests share the bathroom facilities and separate toilet. The retreat has private ensuite room available for guests who require a private bathroom.
