Product Description

The Yarra Valley Meditation & Mindfulness Retreat is held each year over the five days leading up to Melbourne Cup Day. Just 90 minutes from Melbourne, the retreat is nestled in a picturesque and peaceful valley surrounded by eucalypt forest and leisurely walking trails.

If you’ve never been on a meditation retreat before, this is an ideal place to start. There will be instruction for both beginners and advanced practitioners, and a relaxed schedule that includes plenty of free time. You’ll also be able to enjoy gentle movement (yoga and qi gong) sessions and to connect with like-minded folk as we explore meditation in depth.

Good For

Yarra Valley Meditation Retreat is good for down-to-earth folk looking for a relaxed, user-friendly reset.

Programmes & Offerings

On retreat, there will be periods of sitting meditation, along with talks and group discussions. New perspectives are further explored in small group sessions facilitated by the teachers. The primary focus will be on developing a deeper understanding of meditation processes and on learning how to create a healthy and harmonious relationship with your thoughts and emotions.

There will also be time to walk, read and take time off, along with daily relaxation sessions and gentle movement practices derived from yoga and qi gong.

Three hearty vegetarian meals are served each day, along with a variety of teas, coffee and snacks. We can cater for all special dietary needs, including vegan, gluten free etc.
