Spicer’s Sangoma Retreat don’t have a set timetable and instead allow guests to book sessions when suits them:

Private Yoga – Relax in the tranquil surrounds of Spicer’s Sangoma Retreat with a private yoga session. Classes can be held in the privacy of your own suite or outside amongst the sights and sounds of nature.

Private Meditation – Meditation is a tool for reducing the effects of stress on your body and mind by simply learning the art of being present in the moment. Spicer’s Sangoma retreat provides the perfect location to truly disconnect and rejuvenate while meditating your day away. While staying at the retreat choose to do one of the four medication classes which will allow you to visualize your way into a state of pure relaxation. The class is run by Katherine Pinczuk from Words & Wellbeing. Katherine will discuss the various class options with you prior to the commencement of your meditation and will customise your selection so that you gain maximum benefit from the experience.

Wine and Watercolour Painting Class – Sip on a glass of wine while creating a masterpiece in the wine and watercolour painting class. Be inspired by the serenity of the beautiful surrounds of the Blue Mountains and be led by a qualified art teacher on the best techniques to use to create a watercolour painting. Each 2 hour class includes champagne, premium wines, a delicious grazing board and your framed artwork to take home.

Spa Anise – Spicer’s Sangoma Retreat offers an unequaled spa experience in the foothills of the Blue Mountains with treatments embodying the essence of the Australian bush-land. From restorative massage, botanical scrubs and foot baths to  techniques to anti-ageing and gemstone treatments, Spicers guarantee to leave you feeling restored and relaxed.

Infinity Pool – The retreat boats its own solar-heated infinity pool with amazing views towards Sydney. The Chief’s Suite also has its own private heated plunge pool.

Food & Drink

Each day the team creates a meal based on the freshest and finest produce available utilising ingredients from Harvest Farms, a community supported agriculture (CSA) project over two farms located in the Hawkesbury. They change the menu daily based on what local vegetables they can get their hands on. Vegetables are the heroes of the dishes and they are complimented by the finest proteins that the team can source. Sangoma pride themselves on being as organic and sustainable as possible. Lunch and dinner are affectionately called the ‘Chefs Harvest Experience’. Sangoma’s Chefs are happy to cater for specific dietary requirements if guests advise the retreat in advance.
