Good For
Men & Women who wish to learn, improve or master meditation techniques.
Overview
The three-day carefully curated Here & Now Retreat program weaves together Meditation and inner growth, with the help from 4 wonderful teachers; Walter, Robert, Nikki and Kevin. Opening their hearts and mind, they teach an effortless self-directed meditation technique that is easy, enjoyable, and effective while also exploring how meditation and mindfulness are profound tools for entering new stages of self-development and heightening levels of consciousness. A transformative retreat that focuses on helping you reach a new depth of self-awareness, that carries into every area of your life – professionally, personally, socially, and family.
Whether you have never meditated before or have extensive experience with a self-guided meditation practice, as long as you are willing to dive into yourself authentically – this retreat is for you.
Staff/Service
From the very first moment of entering the retreat Walter, Robert, Nikki and Kevin welcome you with wide open arms, with the expansive knowledge and a kind, gentle nature. The extended staff group at the retreat are also very helpful and accomodating. The Itinerary for the weekend is given at the beginning of your stay with organised listed activities of the day, start and end times included.
Accommodation
Accomodation is shared with two buildings; the main building which holds the dining area, lounge, meditation room, spa and a set of bedrooms, in the other building just a second walk away down the garden nestled in luscious garden, has another meditation space and more bedrooms.
The bedrooms consisted of light and spacious rooms, comfortable beds which meant restful sleeps and fresh minds for daily meditation sessions; you can choose whether you want a shared room with a shared bathroom or private room with private bathroom. Each room had either king singles, double bed to queen size bed with all necessities; bedding, toiletries, towels and even a complimentary calming mist.
Food
The pre email which is sent out to all the guests is a chance to let the retreat know whether you have dietary requirements so they can accomodate for you. All meals through the three days are vegetarian and other extra dietary requirements are catered too. A Sydney top chef created and made the meals for the weekend and it was absolutely delicious, full of flavour and beautifully presented. The food is served in sharing plates which bought the retreaters together and added to that family inclusive environment. All meals were locally and organically produced, so not only are you nurturing your mind, you know you are nurturing your body correctly!
There was complimentary tea and coffee, filters water, with biscuits and fresh fruit.
Offerings & Activities
Prior to arriving on the retreat the hosts get in touch to introduce themselves and take dietary requirements, share their offering and book in any extra treatments and services you need during your stay.
Through the itinerary there were a list of activities you could incorporate into your day and welcome to do as little or as much as you like: Health & Wellness Coaching, Life Coaching, Mindset Transformation, Thought Provoking Documentaries, Guided Group Walks, Journaling and of course Meditation. With optional additional access to the spa located in the retreat; Various Facials, Massages, Body Scrubs, Naturopathy Session, Shamanic Energy Session and even a Floatation Experience. Each guided session takes an in-depth look into your ‘individuated self’, with a lot of self reflection, you will focus on areas that can feel uncomfortable but with the kindness and support from the teachers and retreaters, opening up in a loving, healthy and comfortable environment is a lot easier than it sounds.
Facilities
They have a Spa for pamper, a Floatation Centre and a Meditation Centre all equipped with air-conditioning and other comforts. There were bush walking tracks all around the retreat centre which many of the attendees took advantage of during their stay. With beautiful bushland all around the accommodation plus pockets of relaxing areas around the communal areas and in your accommodation too.
If there was anything you needed, the teachers and staff were more than happy to satisfy your need.
